I spent a lot of my childhood making clothes, playing dress up and putting on extravagant plays for any willing eyes that would watch. This, I think, is where my love for storytelling began.
Both my Dad and PaPa loved photography. I grew up looking at their film images, taken with a Nikon 35mm, of all of their gatherings and important moments as a family. The images are classic, telling a story from a simpler time. This is one of the reasons why I love film photography.
In college, I majored in Fashion Design and Product Management. The art of creating has always been a passion for me.
As I mentioned, my Dad loved photography and did it as a hobby as I was growing up. I often took pictures with his Canon Rebel in High School for my friends. In College, it turned into shooting their engagement pictures, and afterwards, I was shooting and helping edit their weddings. From there, as they say, the rest is history.
